2019 will be a watershed year for the Budget.

A new Minister of Finance will deliver a budget in an election year. If that is not enough various interest groups aremaking claims for the budget to be spent on: Land expropriation, Social security, Infrastructure, Free education, Businessallowances, etc.

Once again it will be up to tax practitioners to make sense of the budget and help their clients navigate the taximplications. Tax practitioners are the real heroes when it comes to taxes. Not politicians or collection agencies. If it weren’t for the thousands of tax practitioners willing to stand as intermediaries between SARS and taxpayers SouthAfrica will not be able to have a working tax system.

In celebration of tax practitioners everywhere SAIBA is partnering with SAIT and the FPI in hosting the annual BudgetBreakfast.

Speakers and topicsSpeakers include: Dr Tania Ajam, Mamello Matikinca-Ngwenya, Busisiwe Radebe, Janet Hugo, Tim Harris, Prof JackieArendse. We have asked the speakers to provide you with:
