SAIBA represents members interest at the CIPC and SARS.
If you have an unresolved query or an issue of national importance related to the CIPC operations or SARS operations, then let us know and we will take the matter up with CIPC or SARS management.
We have quarterly meetings with CIPC and SARS management and also have email access to individual managers.
We do not take responsibility for resolving the query but merely act as a conduit and an alternative query resolution process with these stakeholders.
Here is what you need to do if you need us to step in and fight on your behalf.
Before submitting the queries to SAIBA, members should have followed the SARS escalation processes and the CIPC service delivery standard processes, stated below:
1. If you have filed something and are not getting joy from SARS – then FIRST escalate the matter to SARS by doing the following:
Phone the SARS contact centre.
Send an email to the Tax Practitioner email address at SARS.
Escalate to the branch manager where the tax payer is registered
2. If you don’t get a response within 20 days then ONLY escalate the matter to SAIBA.
1. If you have filed something and are not getting joy from CIPC – then FIRST escalate the matter to CIPC at https://enquiries.cipc.co.za
